
The Route
THE LAP DETAILS:

Total elevation gain of exactly 250m (makes for easy counting as you go…..)

Linear return distance of 2.61km (Total Everest climb = 94km)

50% dirt

75% stairs
The Rules

To Qualify for a solo or team finish competitors must do the set route and complete the height of Everest either individually or tag team.

When completing a lap competitors cannot leave course temporarily (Ie. a maccas run and then resume the lap)

No vehicle use is permitted

Hiking poles are permitted

- Climb will commence at 10am sharp on the 25th of July 2026
- Registration will be open from 9am
- Briefing at 9:45am
- Each athlete will be responsible for their own support crew and nutrition (aid stations will be available at both the summit and base camp)
- The cost of entry is a $50 donation and a $30 purchase of a race shirt
- Expected finish time is anticipated to be around 22hrs (8am 26th July) with course open for 30hrs (4pm 26th July)
- There will be no medals or prize money, simply a bucket load of Kudos, some good memories, knowledge that you can handle the vert aspect of every mountain in the world and some really sore legs.
- All Solo finishers will have their names engraved in the Everest4Eternity Plaque on Castle Hill.
Note: Will consider opening a bike option if we get enough interest…..
